I am all that everyone claims to be in their 20s. Loving, adventurous, ambitious, foodie and a friend who considers her friends as an extension of her family. I am liberal, I do believe in Allah but I don’t believe in daily prayers. God is between the belief and the believer and so should be left at that. I want to work on my business and so would like to be committed both towards home and work equally. I love travelling with close friends. I wear every kind of clothing and being able to wear what I like is an important aspect of my life. I love my parents and nobody is above them for me. I am looking forward to meeting people who are self-sufficient, loving and open enough in life to respect one’s personal choices. Restrictions and patronising attitude don’t work with me as I believe in giving everyone their space. I need a friend who can over-time become one of my best friends and who like to live life lightly and responsibly.
My sister is self-employed with a good school and islamic education currently living in Delhi. We came from an upper middle class, basically from Deoband UP but sattledin Delhi west ! We are nuclear family with the high class background with liberal values.
She is a software engineer by qualification and worked for a reputed IT MNC for 3 years. Currently she is successfully running her own up-market bakery joint in one of the posh markets of South Delhi with plans to expand the chain to other parts of Delhi soon.
She is very talented and ambitious and at the same time knows how to balance her work and family life. Born in a very religious family she observes all the wajibat regularly including hijab (scarf not burqa), namaz, roza, majlis, matam. She is herself a very good noha khwan.
